A sense of pride

Brenda Tink and her husband Ron are new residents at Amity Village Albany and know what it’s like to make the big decision to downsize from the family home into a retirement estate.

“It was a big move but we had no hesitation in choosing Amity Village at all,” explains Brenda. “It felt like such a lovely place from the moment we walked in, we feel very safe and content here and also privileged to tell people that our new home is at a RAAFA community.”

The couple, who owned and ran a farm in Ravensthorpe for many years, said they looked around several retirement estates before Amity presented itself as the standout.

“We chose our lovely new place which had been renovated for us, and it was like moving into a brand-new home,” adds Brenda who was born in Ravensthorpe.

“We would say to anyone contemplating Amity as a new place to live that it’s a wise move, the residents are so welcoming and the management is very organised and makes sure everything runs smoothly.

“In fact we really love everything that RAAFA stands for and it shows in how people very much care about each other.”
